Process overview

Welcome to us! At Norena, we specialize in creating custom boat covers for your sailboat. Our covers are not off-the-shelf products – each one is carefully measured and handcrafted to ensure optimal protection and a perfect fit for your boat. In this post, we will guide you through the process, from initial contact to the finished product, so you know exactly what to expect when ordering a custom boat cover from us.

  1. Offer
Here we go through everything that might incur extra costs and what can be removed if desired.

  2. Measurement Week
After the offer is approved by the customer, we ask the customer to choose a measurement week. On the Sunday before the agreed measurement week, we will call you and set an exact day and time.

  3. Measurement
We arrive with the frame, assemble and adjust it. Then we measure the boat with the customer. This takes an average of 1-1.5 hours.

  4. Production Week
After the measurement is done, the cover will be produced within one week.

  5. Installation Week
Once the cover is produced, we will return to the boat and install the cover with the customer for training and a final check of the measurements. This will happen within one week.

    To summarize:
    - After offer confirmation, we will measure the boat during the measurement week.
    - After measurement, there is 1 week for production.
    - After production, we will return the following week and install the cover.

Why choose a custom boat cover?

A sailboat is an investment, and a good cover is essential to protect it from weather and wind, whether it is on land or in the water. Our customized solutions are designed to meet your specific needs, with a focus on quality, durability, and a perfect fit.
