Process review

Welcome! At Norena, we specialize in creating custom boat covers tailored to fit your sailboat. Our covers are not off-the-shelf items – each one is meticulously measured and handcrafted to ensure optimal protection and a perfect fit for your boat. In this post, we will guide you through the process, from initial contact to finished product, so you know exactly what to expect when you order a custom boat cover from us.

  1. Quote
Here, we review everything that might incur extra costs and what can be removed upon request.

  2. Measuring Week
After the quote is approved, we ask the customer to choose a measuring week. On the Sunday before the agreed measuring week, we will call the customer to set the day and time for the measurement.

  3. Measurement
We arrive with the frame, assemble and adjust it. Then, we measure the boat with the customer. This takes approximately 1-2 hours.

  4. Production Week
After the measurement, the cover is produced within one week.

  5. Installation Week
Once the cover is produced, we will return to the boat and install the cover with the customer for training and a final check of the measurements. This will happen within one week.

    To summarize:
    - After confirming the quote, we will measure the boat during the measuring week.
    - After measurement, there is 1 week for production
    - After production, we will return the following week and install the cover.
